PREFACE
Banks are established to take profit. Are these profits made at the expense of their customers? Or is it as a result of the services provided by those banker?.
It is the aim of this research work to find out the role of banks in financing of agricultural co-operative in Enugu State (A case study of the N.A.C.R.B.LTD). farmers satisfaction is what these banks attains to achieve. This research work has four chapters:. Chapter one contains a general discussion on the background of the study, the statement of the problem, objectives of the study, the significance of the and went further to analyze the scope and limitation of the study and finally the definition of terms.
Chapter two is on the review of the related literature which contains the following: the meaning of co-operative societies, Agricultural purchasing and marketing co-operative societies, Role of banks in financing Agricultural co-operative. The Agricultural credit guarantee scheme, securities acceptable for bank lending and the problems of small-scale farmers in raising Agricultural finance.
Chapter three deals with the research design and methododlogy which discussed generally the following: sources of data, sampling procedure, method of investigation, analysis of data and completed questionnaires.
Finally, the summary of findings, recommendation and conclusions made by the researcher are all in chapter four.
If banks would put the recommendations made by or in the study to use, they will not only satisfied farmers with services offered, but a continuous in profit made, thereby making the problems of the farmers a thing of the past.
