Abstract
Watching movies has been an habit among students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria due to the accessibility and influx of foreign and local home video targeted at them. It is on this motion that this research investigates the influence of home video on the moral behaviour of students. The research is quantitative with the use of cross sectional survey research method. The data collection instrument used in eliciting data from the respondents is questionnaire. Respondents were drawn from the Lead City University, using simple random sampling techniques. The research is anchored on cultivation theory and behavior theory. Research findings showed that, a great number of students in Lead University have access to lots of home videos and spending lots of hours. To this end, it is recommended that Nigerian Film Censor Board and other regulating agencies should monitor and filter films before sending them for sale. This is to upgrade the moral behavior of students.
